10X Phosphate-buffered Saline (PBS) is ideal for use in sample preparation and as a wash buffer in general immunoassay applications as well as tissue and cell culture procedures. This modified Dulbecco's buffer is not formulated with magnesium or calcium salts. Tween 20, a non-ionic detergent, reduces non-specific binding and protein-protein interaction during the wash step in immunoassay procedures. pH=7.4. Conductivity controlled.

MOLTOX Molecular Toxicology Inc Fluid A with 2% Tween 80, pH 7.1 +/- 0.2. 95 mL/wide mouth jar. Store in refrigerator.

This item has a minimum order quantity of 96 per supplier requirements. Fluid D is peptone water (Fluid A) with the addition of Polysorbate (Tween) 80. It is used for diluting or rinsing when performing sterility testing. Tween 80 acts as a surfactant which will break down any residue present. Each lot of media from MOLTOX is tested for sterility, where applicable, and its ability to support the growth of the appropriate microorganism.
