pTrham-6XHis-MBP expression vector is supplied in a 5 ug format for improving bacterial production of soluble recombinant proteins. The vector uses an N-terminal 6XHis-MBP fusion strategy to support solubility folding and affinity purification in E. coli expression workflows. Applications include rhamnose-inducible cloning and protein expression workflows, toxic protein expression, solubility enhancement, fusion tag expression. Technical specifications are included below.- Quantity - 5 ug- pTrham-6xHis-MBP vector encodes an N-terminal 6xHis-MBP tag followed by a TEV (Tobacco Etch Virus) protease cleavage site. The TEV site enables removal of the MBP tag from the protein following production. The MBP moiety improves the yield and solubility of its fusion partners while the His-tag facilitates and simplifies their purification with Immobilized Metal Ion Affinity Chromatography (IMAC) resins.
