SRPIN340 is a highly selective, cell-permeable, small-molecule inhibitor of serine/arginine-rich protein-specific kinases 1 and 2 (SRPK1 and SRPK2). By inhibiting these kinases, it regulates the phosphorylation of SR proteins, which are critical for pre-mRNA splicing and post-transcriptional control. This inhibitor modulates splicing isoform expression, suppresses viral propagation including Sindbis, HIV, and HCV, and reduces leukemia cell viability. It has also shown efficacy in preclinical models of neovascular age-related macular degeneration through the modulation of VEGF-related signaling pathways.
- Highly selective inhibitor for SRPK1 (Ki = 0.89 μM) and SRPK2.
- Supplied as a lyophilized powder.
- Reconstitute 5 mg of powder in 1.43 mL of DMSO to prepare a 10 mM stock solution.
- Stable for 24 months when stored lyophilized at -20°C.
