3-D Life GFOGER-3 Peptide (3 x 2.4 mg), cell-adhesion peptide for 3-D Life Hydrogels. INTRO: 3-D Life technology, manufactured in Germany by Cellendes GmbH, is an integrated system for the generation of hydrogels used in 3D cell culture. 3-D Life represents the most flexible system for biomimetic hydrogel design. DESCRIPTION: 3-D Life GFOGER-3 Peptide contains motifs from collagen, promoting adhesion to cellular integrin receptors. 3-D Life GFOGER-3 spontaneously forms a triple helix mimicking the collagen triple helical structure. Its termini are modified with thiol groups for attachment to the hydrogel matrix. Once hydrogels are formed by crosslinking the polymers with 3-D Life crosslinkers, the immobilized peptide promotes adhesion of cells carrying the appropriate integrin receptors. GFOGER-3 mediates cell adhesion within the gel or on top of the gel.
